We have lowered our New and Pre-owned Vehicle rates as of February 1, 2021.  We have also lowered our Share Secured Loan rates, so you can leave your money on deposit and take advantage of a much lower rate to borrow money.  That's what we call "having your cake and eating it too".

Loan Payment Assistance!!

We know that there are many of you out there worried about loan payments at the Credit Union and your credit as a whole.  Please contact the Credit Union and we will assist you.  As you know, all your loan payments at Canandaigua FCU are due at the end of the month.  If you have been financially affected by COVID 19, please contact us so we can assist your needs.  Since everyone is affected differently, there is no "one size fits all" solution.  We will discuss each of your individual needs and come up with a plan that fits your situation.  We are here to help you, call us at 585-394-2436.  We have a Defer-A-Payment Application at the Credit Union so you may apply.  You can retrieve an application in the ATM area of the Credit Union, fill it out completely and sign it.  if you have a co-borrow, they must sign it also and include a copy of your financial distress documents (ie:letter from your employer, or other source)  and place in our night drop.  We will expedite these as soon as we get them.      

Mortgage questions through Owners Choice should be directed to 1-800-342-4998 option #5.  They will assist you with all your mortgage needs and payment structure.


The Board of Directors, Management and Staff are very concerned for the safety of our members and ourselves.  We have now opened our lobby at the Credit Union with regards to COVID 19.  We are here during our normal business hours.  Please follow all the guidelines shown on other News postings for entering the Credit Union.  We continue to encourage all members to use night drop and ATM for deposits, and ATM for withdrawals. 

If you do not have a debit card, we will offer you an Instant Issue Debit Card (with no fees) to transact business.  We are still maintaining all services.  The full staff is back everyday so call or email us and let us know how we can help you and or make an appointment.

• Providing staff with hand sanitizer, tissues and disinfectant wipes in our offices.
• Encouraging all employees to practice proper hygiene techniques recommended by the CDC, such as the frequent washing of hands, not touching their face, and respiratory etiquette when coughing or sneezing.
• Recommending employees who feel under the weather to stay or work at home.
• Recommending meetings via phone or video conferencing.
• Restricting all conference/business travel
If you are sick or not feeling well, please do not come inside the Credit Union so that we may remain open and available to all our members.

New Products and Services!! 

Canandaigua FCU has launched our newest product - Instant Issue Debit Cards.  This will allow us to issue you a new Debit Card on the spot at the Credit Union.  

Keep in mind our other latest products "Card Valet".  Card Valet gives you complete control of your debit card.  With this mobile application, you can turn your card on or off at your leisure, set maximum dollar limits, set parameter for usage at different merchants, GPS your location to work in different areas, and other custom options. Ask for a brochure or come to the Credit Union and pick one up.  

We also offer POP Money and A2A Transfer.  These programs will allow you to expidite your payments.  POP Money will allow you to send money to anyone in the US that has a cell phone or an email address.  A2A will allow you to send or withdraw funds that you have in other finanacial institutions, as long as you are the primary owner of both accounts.  If you are having difficulties with any of these programs, please don't hesitate to call us with your questions.  

We Have  "BILL PAY"!

We performed a system upgrade and Bill Pay is now more powerful with more options.  All scheduled payments were carried forward into the new program, so there is nothing that you need to do with your existing payees.  Thanks for your patience, as we are making our products and services better for your needs.

Zero percent and low interest rate loans??

Did you get caught up in a promotion that said you will have a zero percent loan? Did you get promised a very low rate when you took the loan? Is it now the same rate that was promised when you acquired the loan? If you answered "yes" for the first two questions, then it turned into a "no", give us a call and we can probably give you a better rate. Our loans don't have fine print or promotional period rates. What is the interest rate on your Visa credit card?

Canandaigua Federal Credit Union's VISA Credit Card is now priced like the rest of our loan products. Your Credit Score will be used to determine the rate you will get for our VISA card. Rates start as low as 7.99% APR. All balances will be grandfathered at your current rate until you either:
--- Apply for an increase in your line of credit, or
--- When we do a review of your credit, which ever occurs first.
You will be notified in either case what your new rate will be. All other features of the Visa Card will remain the same, including the earning of reward points, no fee balance transfers, and no annual fee!
